I agree that canon!John is straight (with a very, very, very faint possibility of being bicurious). My headcanon puts John at bisexual biromantic and Sherlock at demisexual bi- or demiromantic, but canonically I'm sure it's straight John, asexual heteroromantic (possibly biromantic) Sherlock. Does that make any sense?
